SaltWyze started as a community project to improve effectiveness of brine application on city roadways. A collaborative effort between the city of Knoxville, The University of Tennesse and Oak Ridge National Laboratory. The effort continues today via SaltWyze, and the industry’s first geofencing deicing system.
